* Please note that cars over 2012 in year and cars with long life plugs will cost more as the parts are more expensive but we will let you know before your car comes into us.

* Also you can now get a range of B.G Oil treatments and fuel treatments for your car. If your car is going for a NCT test these treatments will help you cars emissions and prolong your engine life. These treatments cost 20 euro each or both for 35 euro.

Brake pads typically last 25,000km to 35,000km . Rear brake pads last longer than front brake pads because they do not have as much force applied to them but can become stiff over time due to less  work and the brake caliper may require servicing.

Your Brake discs will last two or three times longer than your brake pads. Over time the brake pad will wear the brake disc and the disc will need to be replaced. We will tell you the full price in advance and will explain in detail what work is being carried out. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.

• Your car has adequate oil and water.
• The boot is empty and seats are clear.
• The hubcaps are removed and the tyres are inflated to the correct pressure.
• Seat belts and clips are fully visible.
• Ensure your engine is warmed up before you go to the test.

If You Fail

• If you fail the test it is important to get a clear explanation of the reason/s for failing. Then you can come to ADF Motors with the NCT report and we can address any problem as quickly as possible.
